The cheese sauce and noodles are boiled in one large pot and then finished in a baking dish until bubbly to perfection! The flavor of the creamy sauce mixed with bacon and garlic is irresistible. Plus, the leftovers are amazing!
Ingredients:
- Spaghetti – can be substituted with any pasta you wish!
- Milk – whole milk makes a thicker sauce and 2% milk makes the sauce a tiny bit thinner
- Cream Cheese – plain or onion and chive cream cheese can be used for extra flavor
- Bacon – cook and crumble the bacon beforehand. You can make bacon fresh in a skillet or use precooked bacon.
- Cream of Chicken Soup – can be substituted with cream of mushroom soup or cream of bacon soup.
- Garlic Powder – if you don’t keep this on hand, you can also use minced garlic.
- Onion Powder – if you don’t keep this on hand, you can also just use Italian seasoning.
- Italian Blend Cheese – a delicious blend of white cheeses!
- Salt and Pepper – to taste! Measure with your heart:)
The pasta cooks and boils to an al dente finish in the cheesy sauce. This is the kind of meal the whole family will love! It’s warm, rich, creamy, and so flavorful with the perfect combination of flavors and textures. The recipe makes a lot (a whole 1 lb box of spaghetti, penne, or pasta of choice), so you can feed a crowd or look forward to the leftovers in the fridge!
